How To Build Your Own Squeeze Pages and Sales Funnel And Rock YOUR Business!

In this post I am going to walk you through how to build your own squeeze pages (lead capture pages) and  sales funnel for whatever business you happen to be in, so that you can start to market yourself like a professional and generate leads like crazy …yourself.

You can always join a ready made system that has it all set up for you, but I really believe that if you are serious about your online business, you will take the time to learn and set up your own. It’s not a whole lot more effort than plugging into a ‘system’ and when all is said and done, if you set up your own, you won’t have any recurring monthly fees.

The first step is to download a theme. I like Optimize Press because it’s excellent for product launches. A lot of the ‘gurus’ (Jonathan Budd, Katie Freiling, Frank Kern to name a few) use OptimizePress and it is a very professional looking theme. I recommend OptimizePress over DIY products because DIY can be incredibly time consuming. So for the one time $97 you will pay, you get a solid, longterm foundation for your funnel.

Once you download OptimizePress, they have a bunch of videos you can watch on how to set it up and incorporate into your online business.

In order to use OptimizePress you will need 2 things, which you may or may not already have.

1. You will need a domain name and hosting. If you already have a WP blog, then never mind …you can just use a subdomain of your blog. But if you don’t I recommend HostGator.

2. You will need an autoresponder. This is super important in any online business because it is how you are going to build a list and connect with them …if you are serious about your business, get one. I recommend Aweber.

That’s it. It will probably take you a couple days to get it set up if you are new, but I whipped up my first OptimizePress lead capture page in about an hour because I already had a blog, an autoresponder, and a set of follow up emails that I had prepared.

So to sum up, if you want to set up a unique and awesome funnel for you business, no matter what your business is, these are the 3 things you need: a WordPress domain and hosting, an autoresponder, and a theme to make squeeze pages such as Optimize Press. Those are the basics and it’s all you really need.
