Are You On The Right Path In Your Online Business?

My experience online has taught me that most people are overwhelmed, and there is a small percentage who are actually successful. If you look carefully, you will see the same ‘gurus’ all over the internet, and most of them are constantly upselling you on their newest products, training, and systems.

If you look deeper, you will see that the people who are successful all have one thing in common, and it’s not their system… it’s the fact that they have made a decision to be successful online and run with it…and they have put their their own unique spin on it. They stand out from the crowd and have created a brand around themselves. And even if they use a ‘system’, their success comes down to their own unique brand, their mindset, and the actions they take daily.

The system they use is just a tool they offer their team because they understand that most people can’t do what they do, and they want to give the average person something to plug into. The problem is that even with a ‘plug in system’ most people still can’t do what the gurus do, because at the end the day, you need to make it your own and develop yourself first.

Let’s face it…are you going to join someone who sends you a replicated system site, or someone who has a unique brand of their own? Just like with replicated company websites, we are all attracted more to the branded leader, than the person who simply sends out their company site and says ‘check this out’.

Take David Wood for example… his success is mostly due to who he is and how he communicates. Not from the company he is involved in or the system he uses…although he used them well. He could use any tool and join any company and have the exact same results. And same goes for you. You can be successful in ANYTHING you choose if you develop yourself and build a brand that is simply YOU.

Same with Mia Davies, Mike Klingler, Ray Higdon, Frank Kern, Daegan Smith, Michelle Pescosolido, and all the other insanely successful online marketers. They ALL have their own unique selling perspectives and they all have a vision that is bigger than simply plugging into a system or using specific tools, and they all put 200% into everything they do. They help people and share what works for them …but THAT is that secret. They do what works for them. If you find YOUR purpose and put everything you have into sharing your message with the world, you will be successful too.

If you want to earn $10,000 per month, you need to take $10,000 per month worth of action. (luckily online that’s easier than off!)

Successful marketer don’t check out every new biz opp…and they don’t spend all day on training webinars. They chose a niche, they chose their tools, their choose a marketing method that they want to become an expert in, and the got into action.

So… Give yourself permission to use your own voice and show the world the real you.

Find what works for YOU and stop trying to imitate others. And if what you are doing now is not working, don’t be afraid to let it go and find what does. Sometimes we get stuck thinking we have to follow the money, and we forget that the money will come naturally and in abundance if we first follow our heart.

You are unique and you have things to share that other people can benefit from. We all do. So focus on what you have to offer the world, and turn that into an incredible business of your own. Finding your own unique voice in the online (or offline world) and following your heart to your higher purpose is the best way to stand out from the crowd and attract your specific target market. If you are trying to attract everyone, you will not see as good results as when you attract people who are actively seeking what you offer.

When people find you on the internet and you give them a solution to their problem, they are highly qualified prospects.

What are you good at? What do you LOVE? When are you bursting at the seams with joy? The answer to these questions may help you get back to what matters in your life and to building a successful business on the internet. So my goal is to help you do the following…

A. Discover you unique purpose or passion (and cut out all the stuff you don’t need that is overwhelming you)

B. Set up a unique marketing funnel that speaks directly to YOUR target market.

C. Create an online presence for yourself that you can be proud of now and in the future.

D. Zero in on ONE marketing strategy that suits your personality, that you can focus on daily.

Oh yes, and once you are rolling, teach your kids get set up with a passion-based web presence too, so that they can get a head start on life and be making some extra cash for themselves even before they even graduate…

And always remember that if you are happy with the journey you are on, there is no need to change direction. Find your route and follow your heart. You will be so much happier with your online business and life in general when you do.
